Everyone is so surprised/shocked/mad about Wes’s death, because “the show just killed their poc MAIN character”. Well, let me tell you something:

• Wes wasn’t the only main character, and wasn’t the only POC main character either.
  
• You’d all be okay if Nate died, who is SURPRISE, a poc main character as well.
• Some of y’all saying the show is racist… how would it be racist?? That’s just the point that it handles all the characters equally, regardless of their skin color. Let’s just count how many white people (who had significant roles) died on the show: Lila, Rebecca, Sam, Emily Sinclair, Asher’s dad, Wallace Mahoney. And now, one poc character too. I don’t see racism anywhere.
• I think we knew the most about Wes’s backstory, and now finally, we can get to know the rest of them. I’m really eager to find out more about Michaela’s childhood, Connor, even Laurel and Asher has a lot more story to share.
• So all in all, I’m not at all mad that the puppy was under the sheet. I think Wes’s story was over and it’s time the show explore the rest of its main characters.

ps. I’m pretty sure there’ll be more Wes in the next couple of episodes anyway, until they/we find out how things happened exactly.
